Coach Mark Champagne was hired as Head Coach of the Clockers in 2010.  Coach Champagne continues to build success in the Ashland Basketball program by instilling player commitment, high moral character and a desire to perform at a high level.  Coach Champagne previously worked as an Assistant Varsity Coach at Taunton High School from '08-'10.  Mark has an extensive coaching career including 12 years as the Varsity Men's Basketball coach at Bridgewater State College.  Mark also spent time as an Assistant Coach at S.M.U and Boston University.  In addition to his college and high school coaching career, Mark also coached for the Beantown Pro-Am team.

Mark played college basketball at the University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth (formerly S.M.U. '77-'78 MVP) and at Mass Bay Community College ('75-'76, MVP).  He is a graduate of Medfield High School ('74 MVP).

Coach Champagne is also heavily involved in the youth soccer, flag football and lacrosse programs in his hometown of Wrentham.

Steve Linehan joined the Ashland staff in 2010 as an Assistant Coach working with our Freshman Club team and assisting with the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams.  Steve has coached the JV team since 2011 while also serving as a Varsity Assistant.  Previously, Coach Linehan worked as an assistant for the Bellingham High School basketball program.  Steve helped coach the Bellingham Freshman boys’ basketball team in 2007 – 2008 and served as an assistant Varsity and Junior Varsity coach in the 2008 – 2009 season.  Coach Linehan has also volunteered as a coach in the Bellingham youth sports programs for several years, coaching boys and girls’ basketball, girls softball and youth lacrosse.  Steve also currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Bellingham Youth Basketball Program and the Bellingham Area Youth Lacrosse Organization.

 

Steve played his high school basketball at Austin Prep School in Reading, MA.  He then moved on to St. Michael’s College in Vermont where he was a varsity lacrosse player.  Coach Linehan currently lives in Bellingham with his wife, Michele and their three children.

Coach Kevin O'Boy also returns on the bench for the Clockers.  Coach O'Boy works extensively with the varsity and junior varsity players on overall basketball skill development.  Coach O'Boy played collegiately at Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts and brings an extensive basketball background to the Clocker bench. Kevin also coaches boy's youth basketball in Brookline, MA as a member of the Metro West Basketball League.

Bill Graham joins the staff at Ashland High School as the freshman coach for the 2013-14 season. Coach Graham had previously been involved with Ashland basketball from 2006 to 2010, coaching at the middle school, freshman and junior varsity levels.  In addition, he has coached lacrosse at Ashland High School (JV coach 2003-2005, varsity head coach 2006-2009), Framingham High School (varsity assistant 2010-2011) and Regis College (defensive coordinator 2012-2013).  Since 2002, Bill has officiated high school football, and college football since 2009.  Coach Graham is a life-long Ashland resident, having graduated from AHS in 1998, graduated from UMass-Amherst in 2002, and has taught English at Ashland High since 2004.
