Coaching Staff 

Varsity Swimming Head Coach

 Anne Meisner 

Anne Meisner became the Boys and Girls Swimming Head Coach in 2014 after serving as Ashland’s Assistant Swim Coach in 2013. Prior to coming to Ashland, Anne was the Head Coach for the Natick Summer Swim Team for 6 years and Head Coach of the Natick Winter Swim Team for 12 years. 

Anne started competitive swimming at the age of 7 with the Natick Town Team. She then joined a US Team, Shawmut Aquatic Club, and swam with this club team through high school. Anne swam all four years at Natick High School specializing in the sprint freestyle events. During her high school years, she was able to achieve many successes and accomplishments including: 
  • Varsity letter winner all four years 
  • Captain Senior year 
  • Team MVP Sophomore through Senior years 
  • Boston Globe, Boston Herald and Metrowest News First Team All-Star Sophomore through Senior years 
  • Sectional Champion in the 50 free, 100 free, 200 Medley Relay, 200 Free Relay Junior and Senior years 
  • Part of the Sectional Championship Team (1st place in 1994) 
  • State Champion in the 50 Free, 200 Free Relay, 400 Free Relay 
  • Part of the state record-setting 400 Free Relay 
  • Member of the Baystate Conference record-setting 200 free relay (1995 - record still stands to this day) 
  • Undefeated Junior and Senior years in dual meets (50 free, 100 free) 
Anne graduated from Providence College with a degree in Special and Elementary Education. Currently, she works at The Ellie Fund as a Patient Services Coordinator. Anne lives in Natick with her husband and 2 boys.

Varsity Diving Head Coach

 Heather Keaveny 

Heather has been the Ashland High Diving Coach since 2010. She began her athletic career as a gymnast and transitioned to diving as a high school freshman. At Westfield (MA) High School, Heather was a four-year varsity letter winner, team MVP, team captain, and league all-star. Heather continued her diving career at Division 1 AA Holy Cross where she held the diving records for 6 and 11 dives on both the 1 meter and 3 meter boards. 

Heather is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross with a B.A. in Economics and Accounting. She is currently the Vice-President and Director of U.S. Tax Compliance for Natixis Global Asset Management. Heather and her husband, Sean, live in Ashland and have three daughters in the Ashland school system.
